When my parents sold our first house, we moved into her double wide trailer to help her pay some bills. We lived with her my whole third grade year. My brother had a horrible teacher his first grade year, so my mom pulled us both out of school and started homeschooling us my fourth grade year. It was definitely a huge adjustment.
Not just for me, but for my mom and brother as well. For example, the summer before school started, we went across the country and learned about Lewis, Clark, and Sacagawea. We also got to go to the beach in the fall and do school there. Around my fourth grade year, my mom started having trouble with her family.

The internet can also be a good place to meet people with similar values and interests and social media has made it easier to stay in contact with people all around the world.

Her parents expected her to keep up with her school work and do well in her classes, the things she had always done; but being a teenager in high school had changed Angela.
In the show, a main focus is how people are judged by their appearance. Angela felt misunderstood and judged when she dyed her hair red after it being blonde her whole life.
